Dalibor Kovář specialises in electronic legal acts and related digital transformation in the field of law, information technology, innovation and the industries of the future, Intellectual property law, entertainment, cybersecurity, and contract law.

In the area of digital transformation, Dalibor mainly focuses on introducing appropriate principles of electronic legal acts in both public and private organisations, using electronic identity, and their legal sustainability. He assists with the practical and strategic development of digital solutions for the Czech market and engages in the establishment of technology partnerships. In recent years, as a representative of the professional public, he has participated in drafting key digitisation legislation (eGovernment) and a commentary to the Act on the Right to Digital Services. Dalibor regularly publishes specialist articles, lectures at the HAVEL & PARTNERS Academy and attends specialised conferences in this field.

In the area of intellectual property and information technology law, Dalibor primarily focuses on the legal regulation of the use of innovative technologies and the industries of the future in general and specifically in the financial sphere, advising on comprehensive technology transactions, commercialisation of technological solutions, legal issues of domain names, prevention and subsequent measures in the wake of cyber incidents, protection of copyright works, and support of technology partnerships.

In the entertainment industry, Dalibor focuses on documentation for content creation and distribution, legal regulation of online technologies and streaming platforms, protection of intellectual property rights and liability for content. In contract law, he focuses on drafting specific and comprehensive commercial documents, including contracts containing international aspects, and analysing complex contractual relationships. Prior to joining our law firm, Dalibor worked at a major Czech law firm for several years and for a year in the then largest French law firm Gide.
