Hana Erbsová specialises in financial and tax law, international taxation, virtual assets, insolvency law, subsidies and public procurement and the related aspects of civil and commercial law.

In tax law, Hana focuses primarily on tax procedures, including tax audits, and subsequently also proceedings before courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court, as well as on mutual agreement procedures (MAP) and the resolution of double taxation disputes (tax arbitration) and international cooperation in tax administration and tax debt recovery. Hana also focuses on the private law liability of executive bodies of legal entities for the fulfilment of tax and other public law obligations.

In insolvency law, Hana focuses primarily on issues related to bankruptcy resolution and discharge from debts.

Other areas of her professional interest include the tax and legal aspects of cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets and using blockchain technology and DLT in general, also in the context of financial market regulation, investment services and structures.

Hana has extensive experience working in financial administration (the Financial Directorate and the General Financial Directorate) and in the Big Four consulting companies (Deloitte, PwC). Before joining our firm in 2021, she worked for almost three years in the ARROWS consulting group.

As part of her expertise, she has worked on commentaries on the Insolvency Act, the Administrative Service Act and the Enforcement Procedure Code and is also the author of articles in professional periodicals (eBulletin of the Chamber of Tax Advisors). Hana has attended a number of foreign internships in financial administrations in the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Sweden and Belgium.
