Petr Dohnal specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity / venture capital, legal audits and due diligence, and insolvency proceedings and corporate restructuring.

Prior to joining HAVEL & PARTNERS, Petr worked for 12 years in various legal positions in a major Czech investment group, where he was involved in a number of projects and transactions regarding the above on both the seller’s and buyer’s side, especially in the field of private equity, engineering, transport, construction, IP rights, securities, and telecommunications and information technology.

In the area of insolvency proceedings and corporate restructuring, in recent years Petr has been involved in several major cases in the Czech Republic, either as a representative of creditors or as an advisor to the debtor’s management.
